It was addressed to Mrs. Effie Brock, Apt. 132 Victory Park, McAlester, Oklahoma 74501) (Body of the letter reads as follows:) Feb. 19 Dear Effie: Was proud to get your letter an to know you are up and around an that about all I can say. Well we got a light shower an its still cloudy just hopeing it some some more rain are snow, one. We need the moisture so bad. Hun, I’m so very proud of the Births so I’ll send you ours. Births: Ora Aug. 5 1900; Lawerence Sept. 22 1902; Ethel Sept. 11 1904; Bertha Sept 30 1908; Lenard Sept. 14 1911; Henry July 31 1914; Ada are Rosa Lee Feb. 10 1918; Mother Betty Feb. 19 1882; Dad Tom Oct. 6 1875; Deaths: Lawerence Dec. 7 1904; Ora Jan. 1 1928; Betty Nov. 18 1925; Lenard July 9 1944; Tom March 25 1954; (Letter was received on Feb. 21, 1969 and entered into birth and death records.
