It was addressed to Mrs. Effie Brock, Apt. 132 Victory Park, McAlester, Oklahoma 74501) /*****/*****/ [NOTE: I have copied the text of the letter exactly as written, misspellings and all. DW] Tom was Born Oct. 6 – 1875 / Betty was Born Feb. 19 – 1882 / Ora was Born Aug. 8 – 1900 / Lawerence was Born Sept. 22 – 1902 – (Unusual spelling, but this is how it is spelled in the family letter. It is actually “corrected to” this spelling.) / Ethel was Born Sept. 11 – 1904 / Bertha was Born Sept. 30 – 1908 / Lenard was Born Sept. 14 – 1911 (Effie spelled this one “Leonard” the first time, but the letter spells it “Lenard” both times.) / Henry was Born July 31 – 1914 / Rosa Lee (Ada) was Born Feb. 10 – 1918 *****/*****/***** Deaths (between p. 506 & 507) Tom – March 25, 1954 / Betty – Nov. 18, 1925 / Ora – Jan. 1, 1928 / Lawerence – Dec. 1904 (Unusual spelling, but this is how it is spelled in the family letter.) / Lenard – July 9, 1944 / (Body of the letter reads as follows:) Feb. 19 Dear Effie: Was proud to get your letter an to know you are up and around an that about all I can say. It was answered Feb. 24, 1969. This information was noted by Effie on the back of the envelope. DW) (I found other family information on a handwritten 5” x 8” sheet of paper.
