James MARTIN, father of Rachel Jane MARTIN, was born in 1818 in Clark County, Illinois. He married Elizabeth Reed DARNALL 5 Oct. 1837 in Edgar County, Illinois. She was the daughter of Thomas McDonald Darnall and Rachel Daughetee. Rachel Jane Martin was born 8 April 1817 in Kentucky and died 17 Aug. 1884. Children of James Martin and Elizabeth Darnall: 1.
